The Run List answers one question: what do I need to carry, and where to?
Where the order board shows every order in the venue by stage, the Run List shows only the things that need someone to physically do something, grouped by table. It's built for runners and bar staff moving around the floor with a phone in hand.
On the Orders tab, use the Orders | Run List control at the top.
Phone only. On a tablet in landscape you'll always get the board — a tablet is usually parked at a station where the full overview is more useful, and the Run List is a walking-around view.
Every role can open it. What you can check off depends on your role.
Tasks are grouped under the table they belong to, in the same order your tables appear on the Tables tab. Four kinds of task show up:
Anything with no table of its own — a walk-in payment request, for instance — is grouped under Other at the end.
Each card carries a bar along its base that grows as the task ages, so the ones that have been waiting longest are obvious without reading timestamps.
Tap the circle on the right of a card to complete a task. Running or delivering an order marks it delivered — the same result as advancing it on the board.
Checking off orders needs the same permission as moving them on the board: Owners, Managers, Runners, and Bar/Dispense staff. Other roles still see the tasks, so you know what's outstanding, but without a checkbox.
Payment tasks work differently. They have no checkbox — tap the card and it takes you to that table's tab to take the payment. The task completes itself once the payment lands. Payment tasks are visible to Owners and Managers only.
A completed task stays visible, ticked and struck through, for about three minutes before clearing. That's so you can see what you just did — and spot if you ticked the wrong thing — rather than having it vanish instantly.
There's no un-tick. To reverse a delivery, use the order board; to reverse a runner response, use Notifications.
The chips along the bottom filter by section, exactly like the Tables, Bookings and Orders screens. Useful when you're working one area of the room.
There's no Run List toggle. You're on a tablet in landscape — it's phone-only. Rotate to portrait or use a phone.
A task has no checkbox. Either it's a payment task (tap it instead), or your role can't advance orders — Owners, Managers, Runners, and Bar/Dispense staff can.
"No tasks to run" but there are orders on the board. The Run List only shows orders that need carrying — ones waiting to be delivered, or comped items to run. Orders still being prepared aren't tasks yet.
A task I just completed is still there. Completed tasks linger for around three minutes before clearing.
