DQ Core has a simple way for the floor to talk to the back-of-house without anyone leaving the app.

The Notifications Tab

A running history of everything sent to your venue — staff call-outs, payment requests, and system alerts — newest first. Tapping one takes you straight to the relevant booking, tab, or order.

Staff Call Buttons

A floating button on the floor screen lets any staff member call for:

  • a manager
  • a runner
  • security

The request pushes straight to the right people. Every role can use this — it's a flat, everyone-can-call capability by design.

Payment Requests

A specialised version of the same idea: it asks a manager to come and take a payment you can't process yourself, with a direct link to the tab. See the Payments guide for more detail.

Troubleshooting

Not receiving pushes. Check your phone has notification permissions turned on for the app.

History stops scrolling back. Very old notifications occasionally take a moment to load further back — give it a second.
